Helvetica ― FONT

• Helvetica (Linotype) と Swiss 721 (Bitstream) と は活字印刷の印字に近く、拡大して観察しても字並びが良く見える
• Helvetica (Adobe) と Arial (Monotype/Microsoft)は活字印刷の印字とは違うし、拡大すると字並びが不恰好

上記の理由から上の方を推奨

Neue Helvetica (Linotype) と Helvetica Neue (Adobe) は、Helvetica (Linotype) の少し新しい書体でウェイトが調整され、バリエーションが増えた。こちらも推奨

――活字の字母にインクがのり、印字されるため、字母と印字では違いが存在する。 また字母は摩耗が激しいため状態の良い印字を選んでフォントを作成する必要がある
――写植の場合、違いは少ない
